| The picture shows a view of this Old Unopened Plastic Toy Space Satellite With Rocket Launcher. This toy is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. It was made in Hong Kong and it was probably sold in an old five & dime store. It comes in a plastic bag with a colorful advertising header card that is the same on both sides. The header pictures a space scene with stars, two rockets, and two satellites flying over the Earth. The toy has two parts. The red and white plastic rocket shaped launcher has a spinning top section and a cord with a tab to pull to launch the satellite into the air. The satellite has propeller blades for it to fly when launched. It is made of white, red, and lime green plastic. The other side of the center section is a bright lime green color. To judge the sizes the satellite measures about 5-1/2'' wide. The plastic bag has some shelf wear but the toy itself appears to be in mint unused and unopened condition as pictured. |
