The picture shows a view of the Old Lithographed Tin Haji Battery Operated Toy Train Engine & Caboose in this lot. Shown are two sides of each. The year that these were made is unknown but they are old. Both cars are marked as follows:

SANTA FE
2315
HAJI
MADE IN JAPAN

A ''C'' size battery fits into the front of the locomotive. The front of the boiler is hinged. There is a switch on top. A battery was tried but there was no movement. The wheels move freely and easily. It was not taken apart. That will be left to the buyer or an expert. There appears to be a pin missing from the front wheel of the engine on both sides. Both cars have an intact tin hitch. The color on the tin appears to be excellent with only minor wear from use as pictured. The scale is not known. To judge the sizes the engine (not counting the hook hitch) measures 4-1/4'' long.
