The pictures show a front and back view of all (15) Different Old Big Band Musician Mutoscope Arcade Post Cards in this lot. The cards are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. They are all from the same set. These are not numbered and the number of cards in a complete set is unknown. These cards were acquired in old arcades coin operated vending machines. They were made in New York by The International Mutoscope Reel Company. The same company that made many moving picture viewers and many old elaborate arcade machines and games. The backs all have a postcard imprint. They are printed in black ink on white card stock paper. They each have an image and name of a big band musician or singer. The cards are all marked: COURTESY OF MUSIC CORPORATION OF AMERICA A MUTOSCOPE CARD MADE IN U.S.A. They are all in very good condition with some age discoloration as pictured. The postcard sides are all unused. |
