The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this 1899 -1902 Deering Harvester Company Advertising Celluloid Pin Back Button. This pinback button was patented in 1899 and the Deering Harvester Company merged with other companies (see below) in 1902. So, this button is from between those few years. This colorful pin back button has a nice image of a Farmer on a piece of harvesting equipment being pulled by two horses in a field. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

DEERING HARVESTER COMPANY
CHICAGO, U.S.A.

BALDWIN & GLEASON CO., LTD.,

NEW CAMPAIGN BUTTONS AND BADGES

PAT. AUG. 8, 1899

The advertising pin back button measures 1-1/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent to near mint condition as pictured. Below here, for reference, is some additional information on the Deering Harvester Company:

Deering Harvester Company
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Deering Harvester Company was founded in 1874 by William Deering. In 1902, the Deering Harvester Company and McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, along with three smaller agricultural equipment firms (Milwaukee, Plano, and Warder, Bushnell & Glessner - manufacturers of Champion brand) merged to create the International Harvester Company which is still in operation today as the Case IH operations of CNH Global.
