| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Unopened Novelty Toy Telescope. It is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. It was probably sold in an old five and dime store. The toy telescope is in a plastic bag with a color printed two sided header card at the top. The header card pictures a Naval Officer using a telescope and a battleship at sea in the background. It is marked on the two sides as follows: PLASTIC TELESCOPE

MADE IN HONG KONG The toy telescope has simulated black leather coverings on the three sections. As stated above, it is made of plastic. To judge the size the closed telescope, as pictured, measures 6-1/4'' long. The toy appears to be in excellent condition but we can hear a loose piece inside. The header card and bag have some shelf wear and the bag has a small hole at the bottom as pictured. |
