This kit features Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Bluto. Included is the box, a large black backing to make scenes on, an insert paper showing the characters, and two cards with colorful Colorforms pieces. There are five small Colorforms pieces missing from the set. The box cover is marked as follows: POPEYE CARTOON KIT Make POPEYE, OLIVE OYL, BLUTO in action with these MAGIC PLASTIC SHAPES No Paint

Even I Yam a artisk with these magic plastic shapes! Hold still Olive an' I'll finish you! ARF! ARF! (Popeye holding Olive's chest piece) ©1957, King Features Syndicate, Inc. To judge the sizes the box measures 13'' x 8-1/4'' x 1''. It is only in fair condition with the five missing pieces. The box cover has splits along the edges and an 8'' piece missing from the side of the cover. It is still a nice example of an early Colorforms kit. |
