| The pictures below show larger front and back views of this Old Miniature Match Box Wooden Penny Toy Smallest Train In The World Set. Similar novelty match box sets like this one were used as prizes in Cracker Jack and were used as Penny Toys. This one may have been one of them, but we are not certain. The toy is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The box has a design, and it is marked “THE SMALLEST TRAIN IN THE WORLD”. The train set has painted wooden parts with metal wheels and hitches. The train has a Locomotive Steam Engine, a Coal Tender Car, and (2) Passenger Cars. The parts all fit into the small box. It is like a puzzle in itself. To judge the sizes the match box measures about 2-1/4'' x 1-1/2'' x 3/4''. The set appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured, the matchbox has one wooden edge that could use some glue. I am selling off my large, lifetime Cracker Jack collection.
