The picture shows this ©1950 Advertising Premium Paper Milk Truck With (10) Unused Milk Advertising Match Packs. Shown are four views of the paper milk truck and the two sides of the included ten unused advertising match books. The match books came with this truck and fit exactly inside. It is very ironic that this company promoted itself as "GUARDING YOUR HEALTH" and give away matches to use for smoking. The side panels of the milk truck picture a soldier and read: JONES MILK "GUARDING YOUR HEALTH" the inside back panel reads: SUPERIOR FOLDING BOX COMPANY ST. LOUIS, MO. The bottom not pictured (oops!) reads: COPYRIGHT 1950 UNIVERSAL MATCH CORP. ST. LOUIS, MO. The ten advertising matchbooks are all intact, unused, with all their matches. They picture a soldier and read: JONES MILK "GUARDING YOUR HEALTH" GA.4080 "GUARDING YOUR HEALTH" The milk truck measures 3-3/4" x 1-9/16" x 2-3/8". It is in good condition with the exception of some overall soiling and tire creases. The matchpacks are unused. |
