The pictures show all (22) Small Old Howard Johnson's Advertising Items in this lot. These are for both Howard Johnson's Restaurants and Howard Johnson's Motor Lodges. The first item is a 1965 Directory. This booklet lists many, many locations with maps and addresses. The center has a map of their locations all around the 1964 - 1965 New York Worlds Fair. There are (68) pages. There are also interior and exterior pictures of the restaurant and hotel. Next is an unused match pack. After that there are (13) old sandwich pics with the old logo at the top. Some are orange and some are blue. There is a small advertising pencil. There is an advertising pen from their Newton, Massachusetts Motor Lodge. There is a large advertising set of food tongs. There is a 1961 advertisement from a Washington, D.C. newspaper. It advertises a complete Clam Dinner for $1.35. There is a 1960s writing pad with (3) sheets. Two of them have some scribbling. There are two post cards. The smaller one is from Binghamton, New York. It is used and postamrked 1977. The other postcard is from Savannah, Georgia. It is unused but damaged with creasing. To judge the sizes the food serving tongs measure 10-1/8" long. These items vary in condition as described and pictured. |
