| | | | The picture below shows two larger views of this Old Unused Davy Crockett Western Pioneer Hero Character Bolo Neck Tie. One image shows the whole tie, and the other shows a closer view of the metal slide on it. The bolo tie is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. The tie and tassels are made of a suede looking cloth to resemble leather. The slide is metal and it has an imprinted mother of pearl looking oval center. It has an image of Davy Crockett with his coon skin cap, buck skin shirt, and his rifle gun. There are no markings and the maker is unknown. The bolo tie measures about 33'' long and the slide measures about 1-1/8'' x 1-1/4''. It appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured. This tie was taken out of an old unopened store stock box of like ties that hadn’t seen day light since it was made. |
