The picture shows a view of this Old Video Game Gum Ball Machine Prize Advertising Header Card. It is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1970s. This is one of the cards that goes inside a gumball machine to intice children to spend their (or more likely their parents) spare change. This one is from an old 25 cent machine. The card has the original shrink wrap over the prizes and the card. The prizes could be removed if desired. It is complete as it was made. There are (10) miniature video games on necklaces and keychains. There are both table top and stand up game versions. The charms are made of colored plastic. They have paper stickers for the video screens and for the art on the sides and top. Some of the games that can be seen on the screens are: Space Invaders, Pac-Man, War (with tanks), and another space one that we can't remember the name. The card has images of kids playing video games and a video game screen for the background. The card is marked as follows: VIDEO CRITTERS MINIATURE VIDEO GAMES COLLECT THEM ALL! 25c EACH MADE IN HONG KONG The card measures 9-1/4'' x 8''. The prizes and card are all in mint condition as pictured. The lines at the top are not damage. They are wrinkles in the shrink wrap. |
