The picture below shows a larger view of all (9) Miniature Novelty or Souvenir Bottles With Items Inside in this lot. The (3) pennies in bottles and the light house one are dated but the other items are not. Six of these have glass bottles and (3) have plastic bottles. The six at the top were normally sold in souvenir shops. The three at the bottom were toy prizes or charms from 1950s or 1960s gumball machines. In the order pictured, the following items are included in this lot: There is a lighthouse in a bottle. It has a plug in the top and a metal loop to use it as a charm, a pendant, or a miniature ornament. It is marked on the bottom: ''1999 ©1999 HALLMARK CARDS, INC. 1'' The second miniature bottle has an unusual shape. It has a tiny cork and an unknown liquid inside. Next there is a miniature sailboat in a bottle. It has a red cork in the top. There are three miniature bottles with United States pennies inside. Normally when these are made, new or current year pennies are used. These have 1984 Lincoln Memorial cent, 1941 Wheat Back cent, and a 1971 Lincoln Memorial cent. Two of these do not have a cork in the top. Next there is a miniature ship in a bottle key chain gum ball machine toy prize. The last two have damage but we decided to throw them in anyway. One is another of the same miniature ship in a bottle (with no keychain) gum ball machine toy prize. It has a cloudy bottle and some melt marks. The other one is a miniature ring toss game in a bottle (3 rings and a post). It wasn't molded very well when it was made, and it has glue marks from when it was assembled. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the top center bottle measures 2'' tall. Except for the last two pictured, these appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
