In black and silver is the title and an eagle with a shield. The book is by Oliver Optic. It is ©1889 & 1890 by Lee and Shepard Publishers of New York and printed by S. J. Parkhill & Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The book has (356) pages with (30) chapters of text and prints throughout. The book has advertising for other books in this Blue and Gray series by the same author. The book measures 5-1/4'' x 7-5/8'' x 1-1/2''. It is in fair condition as pictured.
