The image is of the man sometime between 1925 and 1936 when he was a Pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals. The baseball card measures about 3-1/4'' x 5-3/8''. The card is not graded and we are not card graders. To us it appears to be in good condition as pictured.

Major League Baseball Player William “Wild Bill” Hallahan was born William Anthony Hallahan in Binghamton, New York, he was named “Wild Bill” because of his lack of control on the mound. On April 16, 1925, he made his debut as a left handed pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, playing for the team until 1936. With the Cardinals, he was an All Star in 1933, played in seven World Series games, pitching 39¨÷ innings, won 3 games, lost 1 and compiled a 1.51 earned run average. He also played for the Cincinnati Reds in 1937, Philadelphia Phillies in 1938, and ended his career with 102 victories, 94 defeats, 856 strikeouts and a 4.03 earned run average.
