This whistle is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. This particular mouth flute is embossed “TOUGUE LIPS SIMPLEX FLUTE”. The Cracker Jack ID number is Z-0423 and it was from The Siverman Jobbing Company of Chicago, Illinois. To judge the sizes, the larger of the two whistles measures about 1-3/16'' x 1-5/16'' x 1/2''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
