| | | The picture shows a view of this Old New Hampshire Antique Automobile Photograph. The year that it was taken is unknown but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. There is a license plate marked ''959 NH''. The #959 license plate was first issued in 1907. In 1907, 1908 & 1909 it was issued to John E. Maynard, Plymouth, New Hampshire for a 20 horse power Stevens Duryea so I'd assume this is the car. There are three riders in this convertible car. It has balloon tires and the rear ones have chains. There are five large lamps or lanterns that can be seen. The photograph is mounted on a heavy paper card. This card had been cropped on the bottom years ago for some reason. The actual photograph measures 6-5/8'' x 4-5/8''. The photograph is in good condition with wear, cracking, and edge wear on the left, all as pictured. There are cracks and tears on the card. |
