This boxed set is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. It was manufactured in Japan by GK. The set comes with a colorful paper covered match box, a celluloid boat, the instructions, and an unopened packet. According to the instructions, the boat is supposes to operate or be propelled by a chemical in he packet. It is unopened and we do not know what is, or was inside. The box has a paper label that pictures three different boats, water, and rocks. It is simply marked: MAGIC BOAT
