The picture shows a view of this 1940s Grand Windsor Hotel New York Street Scene Photograph Negative. This photo negative is not dated but it was found with other New York negatives from 1944 and 1945. There is no copyright on it and the photographer is unknown. This New York street scene has people walking on a sidewalk with hotel and storefronts. There are train or subway tracks above as well as fire escapes, and many signs including neon signs. A few are hidden or hard to read but the signs that can be read include the following:
