| | | | The pictures below show several larger views of this Old Lucite Block or Paper Weight with United States Navy Ship Silhouette Inside. Shown is a view from each side and one from above. Unfortunately we do not have any information on this item, it’s age, or the manufacturer. This was acquired in a collection of small old U.S. Navy items. It is basically a block of lucite or plastic. It is clear except for about 3/16'' blue section at the bottom. Inside is a paper thin, black silhouette of a ship. We do not have the class or the name of the ship, but it appears to be an ammunition, cargo, or another different supply ship. If you can positively identify the class of this ship, please let us know. There are no markings. The paperweight or block measures about 4-7/16'' x 2-11/16'' x 1-1/8''. It appears to be in very good condition as pictured. It has some light over all wear from handling, but it could be buffed to be like new again. |
