The picture below shows a larger view of this Old United States Army 320th Infantry Germany Advertising Souvenir Ceramic Tile Paper Weight. The back has some green velvet like covering to protect surfaces if used as a paperweight. It is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The 320th existed during World War II 1940 – 1945. The tile appears to be imprinted ceramic or porcelain. The top edge is curved. It has the U.S. Army insignia or emblem with a man atop a shield with a “FORWARD” banner below. It is marked as follows:

THREE HUNDRED TWENTIETH
UNITED STATES INFANTRY
GERMANY

The tile measures about 3-15/16'' x 3-15/16'' x 1/4''. It appears to be excellent condition with a small chip on the lower left corner as pictured.

The 320th Infantry Division was created on 2 December 1940 in Lübeck from parts of the 58th Infantry Division, and 254th Infantry Division. The Division was formally disbanded on 9 October 1944 and reformed as 320th Volks Grenadier Division.
