The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Celluloid British War Relief Advertising Pin Back Buttons in this lot. These are not dated but both of them are old. They are believed to be from World War II. The left one is white and it has blue print that reads: INDEPENDENT RELIEF BRITISH The right pinback button pictures British and French flags. It is imprinted in red, white, blue, and black. This one was from Providence, Rhode Island in the United States. It is marked as follows: BRITISH WAR RELIEF SOCIETY PROV. R.I. To judge the sizes the larger pin back button measures 7/8'' wide. These appear to be in fair to good condition. The larger one has discoloration and both have some surface rusting on the back as pictured. |
