The pictures show views of both sides of this opened Old Harold's Club Reno, Nevada Covered Wagon Room Advertising Brochure. The brochure is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. It features the upstairs or second floor of the club with its (20) ''History on Glass'' paintings. All twenty are pictured on the two sides of this opened advertising brochure. The paintings are on illuminated glass. The titles include the following: 1. Map of Nevada 2. The Whiskey Falls 3. Cavalry Charge 4. The Emigrants 5. The Barlowe Cutoff 6. The Teamstress 7. A Dash For Timber 8. Custer's Surprise 9. Death of Sergeant Major Kennedy 10. The Overland Stage 11. Fight For The Water Hole 12. Custer's Last Fight 13. Custer's Last Rally 14. The Thunderstorm 15. Fall of The Alamo 16. Battle of San Jacinto 17. Waylaying The Pony Express 18. Attack on The Wagon Train 19. Last Camp on The Humboldt 20. Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe The brochure also pictures customer drinkers and gamblers, a bar scene, slot machines, coins, and escalators with people, a map of the painted images, and an overview with people in the Covered Wagon Room. The brochure would look great framed. The opened brochure measures 15-3/4'' x 17-3/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. One panel (the one with slot machines) has some light old paste marks from it being in a scarp book at some point. |
