The picture below shows a larger view of this Unused ©1980 Kellogg’s Milton The Toaster Advertising Character Mail Away Premium Coin Bank. This blow mold white plastic bank comes with its original mailer that was sent from Providence, Rhode Island to a Rochester, New Hampshire mailing address. The bank has Milton’s face on both sides, a coin slot at the top, and a red cap in the bottom to retrieve coins. Also included here is a paper sheet that “Peel n’ Stick” stickers were on to put on the character bank. Unfortunately, over the years, the glue had dried, and the stickers had fallen off, and were lost except for a few. There is also an unused sheet of (9) different Kellogg’s cereal store coupons (expired in 1981). These two sided coupons picture the cereal boxes and the advertising characters from Sugar Corn Pops, Sugar Smacks, Frosted Rice, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran Frosted Flakes, and Frosted Pop Tarts. To judge the sizes, the bank measures about 4-1/8'' x 4-5/8'' x 2-1/2''. The bank and the coupon sheet appear to be in mint unused condition. The sticker sheet is missing almost all of the stickers and the mailer has a torn corner and wrinkling from mailing as pictured. |
